Obsessive and experimental, Welles is Massimo Audia's solo bedroom recordings project, - already guitarist in Satantango [read past komareviews]. - Homemade, yet excellent in its unity and quality, - a cradle of electro cut&paste, guitars, bass, assassin rythmics like if The Residents met Alan Vega meeting Jon Spencer or local Vanvera, - it is such a rich box of blasting samples, mutating drum beats He stolen like a kleptomaniac, - drum loops and noises, from space age lounge music of Come On to the post punk wildness of Shark Hotel, bluesy and alien on The Hemlock, - more hysterics and compulsive with The Thing, more pelvic with Dallas John, double faced in 50 Cent Worth of Electricity. Audia sings hauting and makes His own thing at His best, - groovy, fool and hallucinogenic: undeniably worthy a plause, made for a repetitive listen.

Welles - Ultimate Dollar Oblivion (11tx cdR, 34'23'' - takemetamars org.

not yet, probably nobody cares, or nobody cared enough to tell something. Also: nobody reads komakino.
